VIDEO Posted: Organic CBD Explained

Posted at sjaca.net this video explains the details behind what it means for cannabidiol to be organic.  CBD is a plant-based supplement. Naturally it’s eligible for USDA organic certification, right? Unfortunately not.

CBD comes from the hemp plant and the USDA does not certify domestic hemp products. There isn’t a single America Organic Hemp Oil company that has official organic status.

The usda does, however, certify hemp products that come from Canada and other foreign countries. This put the US hemp product companies at a disadvantage.

Does this mean that imported organic CBD oil is better? No, Domestic CBD and other hemp products are similar in quality and often better than imported CBD brands. US grown products don’t get to use the “USDA Organic” seal.

That said there is “organically grown” hemp that produces CBD oil organic for use.

Organically grown hemp plants use no chemical pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers.

Organic hemp farmers use organic composting material and natural, biodegradable pesticides to help cultivate the best crops.
